$4000 RAISED FOR THE MABEL AIRI FOUNDATION LAST WEEKEND!
It was a great day on Saturday as we had the whole club united around Carly Goya and her family, with plenty of our community helping the Mabel foundation raise funds and bring awareness to the meningitis disease that unfortunately took Mabel away from her family at only 6 months of age.
The players all wore white armbands in honour of Mabel's life. A big shout out to our sponsors on the day Hawthorne Garage and Downtown Toyota who supported the fundraiser. The Daniel Rich Lions Jumper winning bid was from Adam Cooper with a $1000 bid, thanks Adam!
A big thank you to all our community for donating to and supporting this great cause! Carly and John Goya truly appreciate it.
SENIOR WOMEN DEFEAT BURLEIGH BOMBERS CONVINCENLY!

Demonstrating OUR brand of footy and with every player being worthy of a mention, the team started off our run to the end of the home and away season with a bang.
Congratulations to our Place Bulimba Best on Ground, Jaime, who kicked a couple goals whilst also creating many many. Worthy mention to Sauce for kicking a lazy 5 💪🏅

COLTS GRAB THE WIN AGAINST ASPLEY, SENIORS AND RESERVES GO DOWN AT HOME.
Seniors.
Like the previous Redlands game, we were right in the game again for a long time putting immense pressure on a top quality opposition. Our midfield players were very good at stoppages, consistently winning the footy and giving a forwards plenty of opportunities to score. We were still very much in the game at 3QT but inaccuracy in front of goal and the oppositions ability to counter score had us coming up short. We regroup, get some players back from Health and Safety Protocols and injury for our next match against Sherwood at home on Saturday Reserves: The side got off to a very tardy start allowing Aspley to dominate across the ground as well as on the scoreboard. 6 goals down at quarter time wasn't what any of us were looking for. The second and third quarters showed the football that this side can generate. Enterprising with football in hand our backline moved the ball and provided overlap running with our midfield linking well and forwards finding some space. Our defensive attitude also improved to see us hold our ground for the two quarters. Some skill errors in the last quarter saw Aspley kick away once again. We need to look to minimise our skill errors and maintain a high level of intensity throughout 4 quarters. Colts: Although a low scoring game for the two side, the colts were raring to go in the change room before the game, it was looking to be a great contest before the first ball had even been bounced. The boys battled hard through the 4 quarters and came away with the 4 points. The Colts will be looking to continue this great form next week against Sherwood at home.

PANTHERS PRIDE ROUND THIS SATURDAY!
Being proud in who you are - Panthers commit to the AFLQ 2022 Pride Round
When you change sport, you can change entire communities. Pride rounds across the country are sending a powerful message that our game is for welcoming and safe for everyone. We are proud as a Club to stand up and lead in promoting and celebrating diversity and inclusion.
The Panthers membership as one of the biggest AFL clubs in Australia naturally reflects the diversity of our community and we will celebrate this round with our LGBTQIA players, families and supporters.
We are particularly proud of our men's and women’s senior team’s leadership groups who have chosen to embrace the Pride round by wearing the fantastic Tribal Sport Panther Pride jumpers.
Our colours this coming Saturday clearly plants our flag about where the Panthers stand on diversity and inclusion
Get along to Jack Esplen oval this coming Saturday 16th July as the Panther Men and Women take on Sherwood in our Pride Round! 5 games of great local AFL!!
